As a painter, my gaze is directed at all possible and impossible alignments, fragmentations, intergrowths, reconnections and deformations. To all conceivable moods, states, speeds and rhythms. Flesh and skin, bark and bones grow together, multiply – hybrids appear. They spread, proliferate and develop execessively into something else. While exploring the clash of different poles and the interweaving of the familiar and the strange, a visual language has emerged over time that is characterized by personal and collective symbolism and thus always relates to history – past, present and future alike – the many layers that make us, creating a state of ambiguity.
